Daniel Dias – Brazilian Paralympic Champion tells us about his Greatest Achievement

Daniel Dias is a Brazilian Paralympic athlete.  He has been hailed as the most successful para-swimmer of all time.  He has just won his 25th medal in the men's 200 metre freestyle S5 final on Wednesday and has two more competitions to go!  This will be his 4th and final Paralympic Games participation.

Daniel is a Christian and his faith is important to him. In this video, he talks a little about himself and his motivation as a disciple and servant of Jesus - which he says is his greatest achievement without a doubt.

The encouraging Bible verse he shares is from the book of Ephesians, Chapter 3 verse 20:

'Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us'

Let's be praying for him that God will be glorified through every swimming stroke, every gesture, every word! - and that many will be reached during the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics!
